More than anything, Morwen is an eccentric. From her tastes in favored items to hoard, to her taste in fashion, she's always been a bit of a wildcard. Of course, the fact that she was born with unusual markings, indicating her as somehow blessed by the Shadowbinder, means that no one really asks. She's supplemented those markings with tattoos, and it's rather hard to tell where the markings end and the tattoos begin.

Of all of the strange things about Morwen, two things stand out. First of all, there is her obsession with Water flight and the Tidelord (which seems to make very little sense, as far as anyone can tell). Beyond that, there is her affinity for plants. As a Mirror, she doesn't eat them. She is just incredibly skilled at finding and identifying them. For this reason, it is no surprise that, despite her hunter's nature and her obsession with water, she is the perfect candidate for the Head of Foraging.

Of course, some wonder if this might not be, at least to some extent, nepotism. After all, she is the only child of both the Clan Patriarch and the Head of Gathering who hasn't left the clan to serve the Shadowbinder. Of course, no one really considers this possibility for long. Her mother is far too interested in her work to give the job to anyone unfit, and her father is far too invested in the concept of the clan as a meritocracy to even be tempted to favor his own children in such things.
