Esmeralda loves creating jewellery. She makes a living selling her works to dragons not only belonging to her clan, but also to travellers or visitors. With her fellow jeweller and sweetheart Eira, she creates the prettiest necklaces, wristbands and other apparel.

She was named after the deep green of her eyes and takes pride in her eye colour.

Recently, Eira and Esmeralda have been feeling like something is missing from their lives. So they sat down to talk it through, and came to the conclusion that their relationship should be taken a step further. They have decided to adopt a little hatchling together. With the help from their clan, they are looking for a suitable baby to take care of like their own.

When Eira and Esmeralda laid eyes upon Maivi, her mom Lucía showing her around proudly, they immediately fell in love. Knowing that Eira and Esmeralda had been trying for a hatchling for months, she wrapped the newly hatched Maivi in a warm blanket and handed the bundle to Eira.
"You two shall raise her. I am sure you will do well."
