Eterna is not quite alive, not quite dead. She's roaming the area at night as to not scare the members of the Order. When she sleeps during the day she has pleasant dreams about the apparition called Samhain.

She was among the first dragons to be successfully resurrected by Caithe. However, Caithe could not recover the dragon whole, so using parts of similar dragons was the only way to success.
As a result, Eterna's eyes alternate between green and red, as magic from different elements resides inside her.
