The leader of his small clan, a mirror dragon who took the name Hunter after his rank in his old mirror pack, lost from them he came upon the woods were an old fae named Eurdepes asked Hunter to take over the clan he had founded, a young baby mirror hiding under a small amount of rocks. That was the only other clan member at the time, little baby Flametail. Hunter took a deep breath and nodded taking over, Eurdepes taught him the basics of clan control, and where to go for more help before leaving to work under the Shadowbinder. Hunter misses the old fae.
Hunter is a small but strong dragon who will fight to protect his clan and will remind his members of his strength. His wings were damaged saving her son, the young mirror that was the only original member of the clan, Flametail, from a banded owlcat. It wrecked the inner nerves and wing bones. Making it extremely difficult for him to fly. As Flametail grew older he was able to find and buy a pair of mechanical wings, they aid Hunter in being able to mainly glide, even with that small ability he remains strong and will not give up. His eye scars came from a small fight with a rival member inside the clan, he banished him to Shadowbinders lair, and to have his name erased from their records.
Hunter on his adventures for searching for food came upon a lone hainu, he heard the tales of hainus being completely untameable but despite that, he quickly pounced onto the flying dog bird and took it home. She gave it a collar and everything and watched it. It almost escaped twice but she caught the little devil each time.
Hunter named her "Flightly" for how much of a scaredy cat the hainu was, now a days the Hainu is his best friend and follows him around, so yes.
A hainu can be tamed. It just takes time love and paitence.
A few years had passed within Sheerivory, the clan had fallen to a strange sickness only Hunter had managed to escape. He had heard of it before. The Silence.
While time continued but his fellow dragons slept, Hunter had time to think and ponder on his life, his goal, his choices. Many things. He wasn't sure if his clan would ever awaken.
It was during this time he pondered things that would seem less important then awakening his clan, but he had no medical knowledge in order to wake them. And leaving them alone wasn't an option.
But one day they did wake up. They didn't know how much time had passed. Hunter stood before his clan, reawakened and drowsy and he cried.
He cried before them and begged for forgiveness.
And not too long later he came out to them as a dragon and not a dragonesse. And once again they rejoinced and accepted their Patron, their leader, for who he is and will be.
