OSVANIRVELLAAS (Osvanir: Jade, Vel: Tend, Laas: Life)
The Caretaker of the Upper Gardens
Nickname: Tex | Partner: Daanmeyzkrongrah

Osvanirvellaas was the first fae to arrive at the Scar. It was long debated how such a small creature could possibly be beneficial to such a war-driven clan. He didn't take up many resources so, with a collective shrug, the clan allowed him to stay. For a time he was quiet and kept his own council, often seen flitting amongst the unused natural caverns, for at this time he was formulating a plan. He would, however, require assistance with bringing it to fruition. Osvanir was able to convince Oblaanfuntnahl, the second of the clan, to help in secret; for he had a plan to bring something to the clan that typically requires travel, plants. Plant life tends to have a rough time growing in the ash fields, so neighboring territories often find themselves raided in an attempt to feed the hungry tundra population within the clan. And so, within one of the massive natural caverns with openings to the sky they gathered the required materials. Sand and loam, leaf litter and mineral rich earths, gravel and stone; these were all brought together to form a massive arboretum. A place to grow food for the tundras, medicinal plants for the medical team, and anything else they could possibly need. In the clan's excitement of all the possibilities, a mad dash began. Clan members flying in all directions, gathering every plant Osvanir requests as well as additions of their own. Soon the Gardens were planted, and he found himself being looked to for instruction on maintains them. Now he oversees the Upper Gardens where food crops and other useful plants are grown, leaving the Lower Gardens in the care of Graagkipaak. When not tending the plants he is typically with his partner weaving large nets made with vines grown specially for it. He tends to keep to himself, keeping out of the politics of the clan. At most he will flit to Loktirahkstaad to show her something new he has created. He much prefers the company of Daanmeyzkrongrah and his plants.

"I tend the gardens here. I may not fight with the rest of them, but the poisons and nets crafted here have made the difference on many battlefields. Say what you will but we have our uses."
