Hekurat was never an easy dragon to deal with. In his early days, he would make friends only to relieve them of whatever treasures they held in their pockets (some say that’s how he got those alchemist tools).

He is a crafty one, boasting that he has been “Pilferin' since I was a just hatchlin'.” Theivery was his passion, traveling from region to region without a clan of his own to hang over his wing all the time. He preferred it that way; companions were only seen as a nuisance. That is, until his exploits landed him in shackles and chains. Hekurat had been naive enough to break into a clan’s vault and was caught by an onslaught of Guardians.

Staring out from between the bars of his cell made him realize that no one is really free if they don’t have a clan to stand behind them. And that is where he began to seek refuge.

It wasn’t his intention to better himself in the beginning, but once he had found his place, his home, he reconsidered his ideals.
It’s not all good news, however. Hekurat still pickpockets and moves his clanmate’s belongings to places he knows they’ll never look. A lifetime in his profession is hard to shake off. It’s not as if he apologises either, he just shrugs it off with a smirk on his face, daring you to keep ranting at him.

He is also convinced that any female would want him as a mate, so he sneaks around, trying to be a heartbreaker. By now, though, most of the girls in the area know how big his ego is, and they know they won't find satisfaction in making it any larger.

Iara is the only female tough enough to put up with him.
