Biography

Arandir
Retired Fire Ambassador

Mate: Marissa
Favorite Familiars: Phoenix, Mock Firebird, and Spirit of Fire

Arandir has not always been a fire-breathing Imperial. Long ago, he lived in a world where sorcerers roamed and blood-drinking peoples threatened the freedom of other races. Arandir fought against the blood-drinking race, which was headed by the charismatic dark sorcerer,
Arabacus. Arandir himself was a skilled fire mage and a member of an order which sought to protect the people. He used his fire magic to help and protect others, but his skill brought him to the attention of Ranokhan, who once challenged him in battle. Ranokhan still hasn’t forgiven Arandir for defeating him.

Arandir had an apprentice as a fire mage:
Alora. Despite Arandir’s difficulty in connecting with others, he and Alora bonded closely as teacher and student. He taught her well, and in time, her skill in wielding the elements and other magics would surpass even he.

As a dragon, Arandir is an imposing figure that often keeps to himself. His penchant for being silent and reserved does not help matters. He is still the best fire-wielder in the clan, but unlike
Kyros, Arabacus, and Ranokhan, he shares his knowledge of the element with others to help them grow. He tirelessly defends the clan and helps others however he can. However, he believes that the lives of all creatures are sacred and that violence is never the best solution to a conflict. He offers peace talks and mercy to enemies whenever possible.

Arandir is often found with
Marissa and Alora, who were also members of the same order as he. Alazar is his old friend, and the two sometimes spar. Arandir talks with Arabacus often, trying to turn him away from sinister magics and his old cruel ways. Despite their former opposition, the two get along well. Arandir would give his life to protect each and every one of his clan-mates, but these five are the dearest to his heart.
