| Heatherknell :: Armed Merchant - she/her

Heatherknell was born north of the Icefields, to the Guild of the Crossgale. Raised under the semi-watchful (... vaguely watchful) eyes of her father, Heatherknell took an early interesting in writing. It's hard not to when your father is the clan record keeper- and has an astonishing ability to write clearly in any situation and any state of barely conscious. She would often rest in his antlers or climb up onto his desk so she could poke at the inkwells and watch him recording the reports from the Crossgale's members.

She developed the same affinity, and as the Crossgale is a treasure hunting guild, her next focus was money. She would find her own treasures and began to try haggling and selling things even as a rather small fledgling, much to the amusement of fully grown merchants. She is far happier to sit at her desk and keep count of the treasury and stockrooms than trudge through the snow with her mate or the 'true' warrior bevy dragons.

Heatherknell came down to the Keep as the first contact between the clans of the Keep and the Crossgale, and found a mate in Indigo fairly early. She acts as sort of a liaison between the two clans, often assisting Chivalry in matters concerning the two.

She also is often away from the Keep, as she leads the merchant and craft dragons out of the Keep lands to the markets in the lower Crags. Roughly a third of the craft bevy may be away at one time. Gawain will go with her in the warmer months to play his ballads in the squares of market towns, but for the sake of ensuring one head remains available to those back home, she is usually the only head of Craft to leave.
