» Milo is a ranger and game warden who keeps tabs on the fauna and flora of the lands below the Iceswept Keep's mountainous home.

» The skink who travels with her is named Talvi, and met Milo when she came across their hibernation spot one summer. The log they had chosen was in danger of collapsing, so Milo carefully relocated the skink. After Talvi emerged in the fall, they remained with the tundra.

» She keeps her mane and coat braided.
