Torrent is a stoic and cold diver who goes on solo expeditions to gather materials and treasures from the depths of the Summerstorm Stream. He is the only dragon on the scavenging team who takes their searches underwater; Torfri and Abria are happy to stay warm and dry on land, while Torrent takes a deep dive in their place.

While his clanmates describe him as stern and cold, and he definitively prefers to be alone and left alone, Torrent has a more excitable side, as well. He's like a crow, and adores finding shiny things at the depths of the Summerstorm Stream. Nothing makes his flukes swish more than finding a glimmer on the seabed. He's overall fascinated by everything he's ever found at the bottom of the river, but the shiny things will always remain to be his favorites.

Torrent has the ability to control his breathing underwater for exceptionally long periods of time, even by Fathom standards. Abria and Torfri have learned by now that he can take care of himself and he'll be back eventually, but their other clanmates who might tag along on expeditions are known to get panicky about it. But there is no reason for concern; the longer Torrent is down there, the more grand of a haul he will return with. He is at no risk of drowning.
