One half of a whole assigned to protect Karla on her battle team, Borealis is responsible for taking the hits thrown at Karla and his mate Aurora. He and her speak rarely and they instead communicate via the most fluid of actions to do their job and make sure the ship has enough to eat and sell at the end of the day.

His role on the ship itself is important, and not many appreciate it due to the fact he does it quietly and quickly, slipping in and out of the shadows to do his job. It is thanks to him that everything runs so smoothly on deck.
