    Maeve was born with a Gift - the ability to see that which has come before, even that which she should not be able to know. It is, perhaps, what kept her from leaving the Twilight Clan even when her siblings and mother ventured on to serve the Gods. She was far too interested in learning more about the past, ever seeking to satisfy her thirst for such ancient, arcane knowledge.

    Some time later, her father made a nest again - and from that nest were born two hatchlings: Corvus and Verity. Corvus also had a Gift - the ability to see that which is yet to come. Though his early days were spent in silence, Maeve understood him better than anyone else. The half-siblings bonded over their likeness, and have rarely been seen apart since.

    They kept to themselves for the longest time, until one day Maeve was caught reading the Chronicles kept by Mobius. Having noticed the mess that was his lair, she offered to help him keep things organized. After learning of the gifts the siblings shared, Mobius named them his apprentices.

    Since then, both Maeve and Corvus can often be found accompanying the old scholar, sometimes sorting through his books and sometimes helping him write more of his Chronicles.
