He took up residence with a clan in the Shifting Expanse for quite some time, having found a like soul there in the lovely Klein. A scientist with a love for exploration herself, the two got along wonderfully and brought many little dragons into the world together. But there came a day when wanderlust found its way into his heart again, and they went their separate ways. He was off to see the world again. One day, while exploring the edge of the Sunbeam Ruins and Tangled Wood, Mobius found himself in the company of Ryu's clan. Offered food and drink, he quickly grew fond of the clan leaders - Ryu, Aeron, and Seun. Mobius soon realized he wished to stay with them and their clan, at least for a little while. Here, Mobius found a new passion: teaching. In the young dragons of the Twilight Clan he saw his youth reflected and soon decided he wished to stay permanently and offer his knowledge to the younger generation of dragons. Goldberry, a younger member of Ryu's clan, sought his affections for a while. Mobius was reluctant to give in at first (perhaps still holding a flame in his heart for Klein), but eventually she convinced him to rear a few more young of his own with this clan. All of their children wished to see the world as their father had and left to serve the gods, and after a time Goldberry grew bored and restless and no longer sought company with Mobius. He is a bit weary of love, now, more than he ever was - and though he still enjoys teaching little dragons, he has no wish to bring more into the world himself. He enjoys sharing stories with Ryu and Aeron in the evenings near the Moon Pool in the upper reaches of the lair, but most often is found in his corner of the lair scribbling away at his chronicles. Joining him of late are Maeve and her half-brother, Corvus - two strange Fae with far-seeing eyes that wished to help him keep his work organized. His greatest desire is to fill many pages with lore from all around the world - both from his own memories and experiences, and the stories he hears from others - and allow that lore to be passed down through the generations. Paper and quill ever at the ready, he is never one to pass up an opportunity to glean more knowledge from anyone who happens to cross paths with him or his apprentices. |
