"Far to trusting for his own good... I fear his good nature will betray him some day..." Naive is so very nice and trusting... A shame he was born in to a family of mischief and deceit... He was pushed around by his siblings and would never might back no matter what. He was too nice to ever say no to anyone, so the chores that no one wanted to do would be pushed off to him. He trusted everyone so he was constantly being pranked and tricked... Not even his own mother could "teach" him how to"behave". After all her attempts to get him to stand up for himself failed, she decided it would be the best for him to live the life of a normal dragon... The Fateweaver brought Naive to another dragon clan and left him there. Once he was discovered the new clan had no choice but to adopt him... "I wonder where this hatchling came from?" "It's a scary world out there, we can't leave him alone...." "what should we name him?" "Hm... not sure why, but i feel like we should name him... 'Naive'" Now that he has left his mother's care where will he go? how will he act? this is something only he knows... “ Honey! Honeeeey? Where are you love? “

Naive traversed the blood soaked hallway as he heard heavy breathing and rushed towards the sound..

There he found his beloved, standing over a pool of blood and what seemed to be ichor.

Her heavy breaths concerned him as he immediately rushed over to her side.

“ Karma! What happened to you my sweetheart? “

Karma coughed aloud, staggering as her wings were covering.. something.

“ A monster in the labyrinth. Chased it to the laboratory. That foul beast had grabbed one of our eggs. I hid the rest, but it took a while. In the library, behind the bookcase where we met. “

She folded her wings to reveal an egg, a small crack was present as Naive gasped.

He hurriedly picked up the egg yet as gently as possible.

“ Take them there, I’ll call the hunting squad. “

“ What about you though love? You’re bleeding everywhere! “

“ Ah…ahah.. I’ll be fine love, it’s not mine after all. “

Karma had murmured that last part as Naive looked worryingly at his mate before looking back at the way he came from.

“ Please be save honey, I love you. “

Naive took flight, quickly heading in the direction of the library as Karma tilted her head to look behind her.

“ I will my oblivious bat. “

A large mutated creature with the structure of pearlcatchers and imperials fused lurked in the darkness before revealing itself. It released a roar, sounding through out the hallways as two wounds, one red and one yellow, were present on both sides of the face. The red underneath the eye of the beast and the yellow seemingly ichor was directly flowing out of the eye socket. It’s roar was cut off by a small dagger being thrown towards it’s direction. It looked to Karma and gave a puff of aggression.

“ Come dance with me cursed one, I shall relieve you of your suffering. “

Karma took a stance as the beast roared and charged straight towards her…
