Hinome’s amiable personality belies the dangerous glint in his eyes—a friendliness that will quickly come to an end if something threatens anyone he cares about. Protecting his friends is what’s most important to him, and he has the skills to back that loyalty up. His home, family, and friends are his driving force. Without those ties, he feels like his life would be meaningless. To him, the worst dragons are the ones who betray and hurt their friends.

An experienced body guard, Hinome always prioritizes the welfare of his charge while on a job. He puts himself in the riskiest positions; that way, if his confidence in himself is mistaken, he’ll be the one in the most trouble. He values the opinions of his charge and while he’ll take them into consideration during a job, he expects his charge to obey his final verdict. He’ll refuse to work with anyone who endanger themselves by doing their own thing—unless they have a really good reason for doing so.

Downtime isn’t something Hinome is familiar with. He’s always looking for a challenge and isn’t afraid to go toe-to-toe with perilous situations.
