The Stars' Rebirth
Second Generation Antares was born a regular dragon; even as a hatchling, he was nothing out of the ordinary. He grew up with a normal family, but something was off - very off. Antares always had a connection to the stars. A drive, a power. A connection beyond the bounds of this planet and into those of another. Another life, another dragon. A dragon that he used to be long ago, but it had been many lifetimes, and so he had changed, grown across different experiences, and was now a new dragon, yet with a connection to his previous self. Antares thinks highly of himself, yet he is modest with a maturity odd for his age. Despite his element connecting him to the wind flight, Antares has a fiery spirit and a connection to the sun. He always has... always will. He found himself drawn like fate back to the dragoness of the moon. A dragoness, named Phoebe, who, despite her brightly colored eyes, has always had a connection to the darkness. Her face clouded by a supposed dark past, though so long ago, brightened over many lifetimes. Once again, despite her connection to the light flight, she has a calm and free spirit, and shows more of an affinity for water, and the moon. Her fate will lead her to the guardian of the sun lifetime after lifetime. They had been through many lives, being reincarnated almost beyond recognition from their first lives. The lives of two heroes, who saved a faraway planet from monstrous creatures from the cosmos centuries ago. The heroes who had their power stripped away almost completely, only to be returned when it was once again needed. It seems as though it is needed now. The pair, drawn together by destiny, have appeared on Sornieth to protect the planet from the curse of the Cosmos. A small portion of their power has been returned. Yet, with this threat possibly spreading to the original planet, Antares and Phoebe have resolved to spread their bloodline across this one to protect it, with each hatchling inheriting their parents' powers. The Arcane Authority
Second Generation Descended from a long line of wizards, Aubrey was born with magic running through his veins. Due to both the literal and social power he held, the Ridgeback found himself rising through the ranks of Arcane's scholars and magic users. Eventually, he found himself seated in the Oculus of the Eleven as the Magister of Arcane, only to be sacked soon afterwards due to an untold controversy. Nowadays Aubrey can be found in his beautiful tower by the coast, tinkering with washed-up debris and breathing life into his creations. Amaryllis, on the other claw, is a more enigmatic figure. For as long as people can remember, Amaryllis has existed only as a source of terror, attacking any unwary dragons who venture near her home by mistake with monsters made of smoke and claws made of iron. Eventually the nearby townsfolk grew angry at her deeds and retaliated by burning her hut down with Amaryllis trapped inside. Recently, however, sightings of a strange fabric beast near the remains of Amaryllis' home have become more and more common... Behind the scenes the two mages toil together, slowly spreading their power and teachings. Perhaps this time, as the united Arcane Authority, they will show dragonkind not to frown upon their strength, but to bow beneath it instead...! Requirements: None |
