Like his father, Silki has the manners of an aggressive pincushion with a grudge. His temper is a thing to behold and he will fight anything that breathes wrong in his presence. And he will subsequently lose, because he's just not that good at fighting.

Silki can mend your shirt like it's the easiest thing in the world, but he's as likely to stab himself as he is someone else if you hand him a sword.

With this in mind, it makes perfect sense that Silki's dream is not to be a warrior, but a designer. He wants to awe the world with his creative endeavours and get all the praise he so rightly deserves for his talent, wants to sell fantastical outfits in dreamy bazaars full of riches and fanciful dragons, and maybe have a colour named after himself because he's that good. He's an artist, darn it, and he will be recognized as such or he will—uh, he'll do something, alright, you just wait!
