naturev4.png The young dragon was born to a nest with two siblings, each hatchling unaware of the faint power flickering to life inside them. Their nest rested deep in the lightless roots of the Behemoth, and they felt infinitely small and alone..

But before darkness could overwhelm them, a hooded figure appeared and lead them to the surface world. Once they had seen the sky and tasted open air, the figure spoke,

"Tread with wisdom, hatchlings, for the world can be cold and cruel. May you find your truth in the lands beyond."

Orion was the last to greet the outside world, a tentative snout testing the air with whiskers on high alert. Eventually he joined his siblings, guarding his pearl as one of his sisters declared she would find the source of a mighty roar they heard. But Orion felt a dullness in his bones and a weakness of spirit, so the headstrong obelisk left them, and he felt a looming darkness.

That hooded figure.. She could help, couldn't she? But she was gone, and Orion troubled himself so intensely that by the time he looked up, his other sibling was missing too.

He was alone.
