Atlantic was hatched from the gift egg provided on 4/17/24 with the introduction of Duthides. When she hatched she was Spearmint/Peach/Driftwood with Rare Water Eyes. The first genes chosen were Sailfish/Marlin/Veil. This dragon's hatchmate is Pacific

Fun Atlantic Facts
The Atlantic Ocean is recognizable for its icons S shape and is the second largest ocean. It's exact borders are heavily disputed, with the Arctic Ocean often considered as a dependent sea within the Atlantic. It is usually split into the North and South Atlantic regions and its most notable geographic feature is the Mid-Atlantic Ridge! On the Hydrology side, it's neat to note that it has the highest salinity of any other earth Ocean! Even though this is the second largest ocean, it is still only half the size of the Pacific. The waters composition where they meet are so different that it is sometimes visible by the color of the water!

The Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill occurred in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico and is recorded as the largest oil spill in current history. This leak alone was 4,900,000 barrels. These days the open waters are fairly free of human contaminates, with most pollution gathered along shorelines where waste water flows, pesticides runoff, and industrial waste gathers. Stronger regulatory laws and mindfulness about the things we spray on our farms and lawns can help lessen this impact along with a greater push for cleaner energy. We just need to remember: be kind to the planet, be kind to eachother. And Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ♻️
