Biography

Role: The Tamer
Mate: Alastor
Familiar(s): Dagda, the arcane sprite and Sev, the frostbite hummingbird
Hoard: pets and familiars
Theme: Snowbelle City / Northern Pastures

From hatchlinghood, Eirlys had always had an interestingly strong connection with her arcane roots. Even though her respective element is ice and she regularly prays to the Icewarden, the moment she hatched Dagda, the arcane sprite decided to leave their previous master for the tiny skydancer. To this day she appears to magnet creatures that are sensitive to magical charge, especially sprites and faeries, and sometimes faes.
When she had barely hit adolescent age, her mother gave all her children a choice: they could leave with her and her mate for the Tangled Wood and journey through the whole world by her side, or they could go back to Crystalspine Reaches, the place of her birth, and find the Library she once called home, where they would be guaranteed to be welcomed. Along two of her brothers, Eirlys took off for the Library of the Nephilim, but only she arrived at the place - a destroyed and burned down hole. Cosmos gladly took her in as his disciple, but she's more family, really; she proves her lineage with the jewelry she inherited from her mother, and she helped rebuild the Library to it's present glory.
She's a softspoken and kind person, the all-time favorite of local familiars and hatchlings. Helpful, gentle and understanding, she's the best chat partner for people who are intimidated by Devi constantly and mildly creepily staring at them. Even though one might assume she's just another hippie little airhead, she's very conscious of what's going on around her, and instinctively senses bad intentions. She's the queen of passive-aggressive comments and half-concealed threats. Even though Eirlys is nice to pretty much everyone on a default, she rarely lets anyone find a grip on her, and she's quick to distance herself from everyone who she finds too pushy. This behavior earned her the nickname "ice statue", quite beautiful to look at but cold to touch. The only one she allows to have a glimpse of her heart is her mate, Al, who she loves unconditionally.
