Alastor, nicknamed Al was sent from a sibling clan of the Library after they heard of the tragic mass disappearance of the members of clan Nephilim. He came around to help and originally did not intend to stay for longer than a few months, but he slowly grew fond of Mitera's kindness and Cosmos's enthusiasm, and ultimately lost when Eirlys came around. He still regularly visits his family though.
He's a guardian of the Library of the Nephilim, though he finds the duty very boring, and often complains about it loudly. Except when Mitty is around, those times he only complains very, very quietly under his breath. He's very sure he's the best thing on the face of this planet, and isn't shy to utter that as often as possible. He almost never takes his mask off, his mate, Eirlys reported to have seen him wearing it to sleep sometimes. Coming from an all-guardian family, he was looking forward to setting out on his Search, but got side-tracked along the way when he joined the Library. He got caught up in the warping energies of the land, and found himself turned into a spiral. Even though he first strongly disliked his new flesh prison, he's grown used to it and nowadays he says he kinda likes it because "it's easier to wear clothes". He never talks about it, but he's still looking for his Charge.
Al refers to himself as an "illusionist". He's undoubtedly skilled at concealing and shadow magic, and shows off as often as he can. He also knows a handful of useless card and coin tricks and loves to anger others by charming their stuff away. His possibly favorite passtime is arguing and picking fights with Inga, whom he loves to despise.
