They/Them ~ inquisitive - clever - curious - friendly
Alacris was hatched to a powerful light mage prodigy and an advisor of the clan’s founder and leader, a power of knowledge and light passed on to the hatchling. A role was bestowed upon them, to hone those powers and help the clan they found their new home in and share their magic. However, Alacris was not fond of waiting for the right clan to come nor were they ready to find just one place to spend the rest of their life in, a fate bestowed upon them was not the one they wanted to accept, a thought and wish of exploration growing in them since their first days.
Their life started in an academy where they learned to use the powers bestowed upon them by the gods, a subject Alacris had no issues with. They were a natural with the light magic, always curious and yearning for more, displaying their arcane since they could barely walk. When they were just a small hatchling, barely out the egg they would summon balls of light to play with or to just illuminate the night sky, always earning a pat on the head by their mother and their siblings to scoot closer. When they were a few year-old child and exploration began, they learned to illuminate themselves, their body shining bright, radiating a comfortable heat, a skill that came in handy when they would walk the shadowfall forest, helping them to meet the shy nature fae and make friends with the beasts of the forest. Once teenage years came, Alacris spent most their free time in the grand library. The books opened their eyes to the vast world outside and the history of Sornieth, the wish to explore not satiated by Lume surroundings any longer, they wished for more, they wished to see the drawing in the books they read for themselves.
After honing their powers enough to be able to fend for themselves they came clean to their parents and the demigod leader, a confession that was accepted without a second thought. They were supported with their wish to explore the world, their parents proud of them.
Preparations did not take long as they packed some helpful books and scrolls, some food and drink for a weeks’ time until they found a new clan to explore. Within a couple days they bid farewell to all the ones they knew and set flights towards new adventure, hopeful and excited for anything new they might learn and all the new dragons they could get to know.

Alacris first found their way into the land of plague, which they expected great savagery from. Their parents had known that the land of plague could be just has riddled with danger as the land of shadow, and warned her. But they were curious, as they knew how the angels could exaggerate things.
The town of Corrosionius wasn't anything savage or rough. Alacris felt a tinge of disappointment–they wanted something show off their blinding magic on–but here there were mere people and people shaped things.
