BluminKonigin's first Consort, Father of 5 Jewels, KavallKonug was a strong presence next to Konigin, aiding her in leading the clan to the peace it has at present. His life changed in an instant, after the hatching and subsequent blight of Unnamed. Being exposed to the Shade while attempting to fend it off from the newborn nocturn, Konug was touched and driven mad with a nearly insatiable blood lust.
Lured and corralled out into the night by HeimWatchter, SotSangare, and MakellosEngel, they held him from wreaking havoc on the clan by matching his unhinged fury with the precision and power of years of martial training.
BlumenKonigin, with the added power of Sharik, was able to scatter the majority of the Shade inside Konug and restore some of his unclouded thought, but KavallKonug would never be the same as he was before.
Turned from a soft spoken, tactical genius into a quick tempered and mad talking fool, Konug was quarantined in the lowest reaches of the caverns, closely observed by OklarAvgrund and AndeHerre for any hints that his current state would lift.

Eventually, BluminKonigin lost hope that her friend and lover would return as he once was. With a strictly regimented medicinal routine, KavallKonug retains enough of his mind to be among the others. His obsession with tarot and oracles keeps him grounded; his predictions pull no punches and are scarily accurate.
