Only 2 things really matter to OklarAvgrund, head researcher and alchemist of the clan; the pursuit of knowledge and shiny things. Enticed by the Clan's mantra of 'Beauty in all things', he joined permanently after realizing that he could find no better place to settle than the clan grounds. Provided with equipment, space, and materials for his experiments, OklarAvgrund revels in his lab, which is connected to his rooms. He's often causing explosions that the majority of the clan members are now quite accustomed to. His main topic of research delves into the magical applications of gems and fabrics infused with different energies, and though the strange tests he runs mostly go over the heads of others, he loves to explain his methods.

The other alchemists rely on OklarAvgrund for assistance in their own studies, as he has spent much time learning about multiple disciplines. He also works very closely with the fabricators, constantly interrupting their work with 'breakthroughs' in his research that he must try on their works in progress. Luckily for him, Nianna allows him to keep the gems, fabrics, and other trinkets from his failed experiments, displayed proudly in his lab and his rooms. He finds conversation with BlumenFurstin to be extremely fun, as they always end up working on some scientific problem or another, either about his research or her passion for technology.
