Astorios was born for the skies. He was an unrivalled flier, exploring the skies from the tundra of the south to the barren lands of Dragonhome. He charted the stars and let them guide him, needing no map or aid, and in the navy skies of night, he became alive amidst the stars.

Until he fell. Until a burning hot comet broke through the skies and struck his wing, melting to the feathers and warping around his bone. Until he plummeted to the ground, fire wreathing him, screaming as the metal cooled against flesh and dripped over him, gilding him, crowning him a star himself--but a falling one.

He knows, more than any, how stars can be powerful forges, churning out gases and metals, the foundations of all star-stuff. The stars are engines of innovation, and Astorios was not going to be left behind. He turned his metal adornment into a work of art, and equipped himself with the very best astronomical equipment Sornieth had to offer, sending for material from the Arcane and Lightning flights, befitting himself with only the finest. He could no longer fly among the stars, but he could adorn himself with them. He could study them, and record them. His new home amid an Earthen clan became cluttered with star charts and maps, and he spent many late nights with the Seer to unravel the mysticism of the cosmos. Astorios turned his knowledge into a home.
