Wick sees stories in candle-flame. He’s not sure if they’re actually visions visions, or just fun little hallucinations that his particular brand of messed-up bloodline magic manifests, and he’s not actually that eager to find out. If he did know they were actual future-visions, like the kind his mother gets, he feels like that would get him in trouble either from other dragons or from his own conscience. But he does so love watching the shadowy figures dance on the wick until the wax runs out. He likes to think of it as a private performance, just for him - a secret he gets to keep.
