The Experiment
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
No one is sure where this mysterious dragon came from. It was found by a few of Richter's students, sleeping in a cauldron full of a dark and murky goop. The others aren't even sure if this is a real Obelisk or one completely made out of slime due to some freak accident. Tar seems to be mute, and no one is sure how it's voice actually sounds. However, it does seem to be friendly enough to keep around without the risk of harming anyone. And it also eats away at any junk that's discarded, making it a living trash bin. Still, it wouldn't be a wise idea for any dragon to let Tar into their lair unattended, as it's 'fur' coat droops this mysterious liquid all over the place. It's ideal that it's carried around by another dragon while remaining in a bucket or some sort of container. Normally, Andesite is the one that keeps Tar in check and carries it around.
While Tar's slime coat doesn't seem to be poisonous, upon Slingshot accidentally ingesting it and coming down with a stomach bug, it's safe to say that it isn't wise to consume without some risk. There may be more affects, but no one else is willing to be a test subject. Though the Spiral did report it tasted like a mix of mudwater and some unidentifiable berries.
However, Tar's spit has been shown to be acidic, as it spat at a cauldron and managed to melt a bit of the metal off completely. It's still unknown how this chemical is different from the outer layer of slime that's supposed to be it's fur, But yet again not a lot is known about it anyway.
Best not to let it near hatchlings, as it will try to spread a bad influence on them by convincing them to dig through scraps and collect trash for it to eat instead of going out on it's own. It even has the guts to convince them to steal from adults or elders, just to satisfy it's hunger.
