When he was in the same clan as Stairs, Door would never leave her side. They were like twins, almost, in that they were practically the same dragon since they mimicked each other so much. They would play all sorts of games; a lot of them didn't exist outside of their friendship. They stole a deck of cards from a traveling circus and used that a majority of the time. He still has the same deck stashed away in his hoard. After they were separated during a fire, Door spent many days stumbling around brambles and trees, looking for his friend. He collapsed from exhaustion right as Arelyn found him.

Arelyn came across Door when he was a hatchling. Not as young as a newborn, but not old enough to survive on his own. He would cry out every so often, as if he were calling for someone. She took him with her to the clan and raised him as her own. He grew very fond of her in return, and they still have a familial relationship. His favorite things are antiques that Arelyn unearths in the coliseum, sashes and silks, strange flowers, jewels, and cards. He often cares for a small garden with Oopsie, planting all sorts of herbs and flowers. He finds it very relaxing, going there when he needs alone time.

He incorporated different aspects of other personalities of dragons as he met more and more of them into his own. When he met Stairs again, he was a vain yet kind dragon who had a curious habit of sleeping on silverware. He was very fashion-oriented, always correctly predicting the next popular style. He was one of the first dragons to wear silks in a way that showed off the wearer's body spectacularly.
