Bala

Bala (bah-lah) means "young" in Sanskrit.

Status: Peacekeeper of Ópal Hylinn

Bio: Bala was found as an egg by Shpresa when she accidentally dug all the way to the Windswept plateau, and was ultimately brought to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Much like Ragna, Bala is known for copying other dragons in their roles and hobbies. He has taken to peacekeeping the clan like most of the dragons in Ópal Hylinn, and often expresses a habit of going off on his own.

Bala chose to be a peacekeeper for a reason similar to the other peacekeepers; it allows him the freedom of travelling to many different areas, meet many different types of dragons, and see many different things. As a peacekeeper, he has the opportunity to not only talk to other dragons (as is his job), but also gather information from them on any and all subjects that interest him; things like knowing what it is like to live in the Plaguebringer's territory, or how hot it can get in the fire plight's lands. His wind heritage make him both curious and flighty though; so sometimes he forgets to ask all of the peacekeeper questions he's supposed to and has to return to a different flight to finish his inquiries.

He likes going off on his own because he has an adventurous spirit, as a lot of the wind flight do. Despite being raised in a water clan, he is a wind dragon at heart and his blood calls out for him to travel and discover new places, which he'd often do on his own because other dragons could hinder his adventurous spirit, slow him down, or they just talk too much and he enjoys adventuring alone.

Bala likes Opal Cobras along with collecting driftwood, and mildly dislikes the smell of sulfur.
