Outside the security of the ruined cathedral, the lands of the Hewn City lie unforgiving. But among the decrepit structures that threaten to crush those below it at any moment, there are those who relish in the uncertainty. While they are welcomed visitors of the cathedral, these dragons choose to forge their own paths.
Renegade was born to a simple clan in Dragonhome. The dragons around him cared for him and food was never scarce. For most dragons, a simple life caring for those around you is all one would ever need. But for Renegade, he longed for more. The moment he was old enough to adventure out on his own, he said goodbye to his fellow clan members and left to visit the home of his kind — the Sunbeam Ruins. Upon arriving at Lanternlea Port, he met his first Light-born Pearlcatchers. While initially enamored by their sense of self-importance, he soon became disgusted by their constant need for gossip and social games. He gained the sense that as highly as these dragons thought of themselves, they would instantly run from any sort of real difficulty. No longer interested in integrating into Pearlcatcher society, he promptly left to explore the rest of his species' homeland. He has wandered from area to area, relying on his own strength and resourcefulness to get by as he makes his pilgrimage through the Sunbeam Ruins. Currently, he traverses through the Hewn City on his way to the Moonportal. Nearing the end of his journey, he questions weather he will stay in the Sunbeam Ruins, return to Dragonhome, or continue exploring Sornieth alone.
