B I O G R A P H Y

Sometimes a story is not about anyone, but about the world that surrounds someone. Damascus had, like most other dragons that found the Maji tribe, been a wanderer. That being said, unlike most others, she had decided to stay. So many dragons had called these lands home, and to be a visitor to these strange cultures and even stranger gods, she decided to find work. Zarr was the first to try to teach her a trade, recognizing the great prowess and store of magic within her. He had shown her how to enchant stones, though, while she was more than skilled, could not control her own stores of magic and would almost always imbue far too much, breaking stones, or worse. That being said, she was still willing to contribute, but Zarr suggested something much more simple.

Jynsuul had been a good teacher for many others to teach those to make armor for their own various bodies. But she was still the best to making armor for both guardians and fae and everything between. Damascus had, at first, only assisted in keeping the forge lit, and on occasion other tools. However she lost interest in making weapons rather early on, and often hammered armor far too thin to be of any real protection. Jynsuul could only laugh, telling her that it seems any dragon of the same element seemed to struggle, though, directed her skills to instead the focus of jewelry, or metalwear that wasn't for battle. Damascus understood very little of what Jynsuul had meant, but would soon meet another pupil of hers, Droplet, who often came and made a few rings and a crown before vanishing off again.

She would practice over and over, often without her master's supervision, though, with her permission. It seemed that when it was long after she had used up most of her energy, it was in the calm of the night and early morning where she didn't think and instead poured her soul into her craft that she would make the finest things, and all of it enchanted with her magic. Droplet would be the first to really take note of it, insisting that she take a few to show her friend. Damascus would find little reason to object, only to find that her friend was none other than the chief's son, Icha. It was then, upon his inspection that he offered her to become a clan representative. It was apparent that her skills were great, but not needed within the clan, and perhaps within the lands that resonated with her magic would allow her far more control. And soon, would find herself travelling to this familiar land, but new place to call home. Cerulean being the first to catch word of her arrival, and would soon find herself watching and spending time watching her craft, and sometimes taking a few strange arrowheads for herself to use for her own hunts.

_MAJI TRIBE_

____The Maji Tribe are relatively new compared to other villages and smaller clans. Having only formed in recent history they unite under the name of their chief's family name, The Majino. The Maji Tribe were once a collection of nomadic people who would wander from land to land. To those unaware, they would appear no different than wandering beastclans, however, unlike them, they would often find themselves in the passing of other clans, tribes and cities, serving whoever their current masters may be.

When Chang eventually left her home, she would wander into the Plaguelands, only to pass other smaller nations. It's unsure when, or how she first came to speak with the Greater One but it is believed that it was the land she chose to call home that led to some reason, at least partial in his selection. The Maji people would take in any ad every dragon in passing, from the injured and sick to the young and orphaned. Some would call this place home for the rest of their lives, while others would only stay for a while.

Whatever the reason, the clan welcomes all. Be warned however, secrets lurk behind every corner, only to be uncovered by those willing to listen to the darkest shadows lurking. Will you stay and listen, or will you be on your way?

____Not all dragons come from a great heritage. Some are at the beginning of their family legacy, while others become the last of their bloodline. It doesn't matter where you come from, only where you are going.

Some bloodlines exist and die in the same land, sometimes even the same lifetime. The true way to carty on a legacy, is to travel and share your findings with the world, your story, and your family. After all, how can you expect to survive if all you ever know is home?
