Physicality:
Aschedes was a sickly looking dragon. He was quite thin, with sunken eyes and lanky limbs. He kept his claws short, so as to not get dirt under them. He had a big head, and it just made the rest of him look more paltry.

Personality:
Aschedes was a shy little dragon. They didn't have low confidence in their thoughts or ideas, but knew that that didn't mean they would be received the way they hoped they would be. As such, he'd often just put a plan into action without telling anyone, and explain how it worked later. They'd rather sit and listen than lead or participate more actively in a conversation. When they do speak, they have a quiet monotonous voice. They can be blunt, and if they hurt people, they can sometimes get more focused on understanding how it was that they did harm despite not meaning to than on apologising or making up for it.

History:
Aschedes wandered too far from home as a hatchling, and ended up lost. By the time he was found he was malnourished and sickly. He was found by Camphrenie, and brought straight to Eckle. He was ill on and off for most of his childhood, so stayed in close proximity to her. Hoping to be of use, they sought to help do little things like clean up and deliver medicines to dragons. Eventually in following Nugget and Droseran around, they found an interest in gardening, and began specifically focusing on medicinal herbs to keep on helping Eckle.

Eckle: Aschedes was brought to Eckle as a sick hatchling. Being sick on and off for most of their youth, they spent a lot of time at Eckle's sickbay, and learnt a lot from them both in terms of their duties as healer and their personality. Aschedes saw Eckle as a parental figure and role model. At the time, founding family members were not allowed to take non related clan members on as apprentices, so Eckle had to disavow this behaviour. But Aschedes was grateful for Eckle taking care of them, so always sought to help, even just be sweeping up. Eventually, they started a herbalist's garden so as to provide aid directly to Eckle but through an indirect means so that they wouldn't be breaking any rules through an actual official apprenticeship. Eckle accepted this.
When Aschedes grew into an adult dragon, the two stayed close. From an outsider's point of view it wouldn't be obvious at all, but they cared deeply for one another, and showed it through their actions.
