Oracle

oraclereading-Djinn.png

Bottom of the Deck - Conflict:
This card indicates what the rest of the spread is referring to, which could be a good indicator of what Djinn is struggling with or has gone through in their past. The conflict card could indicate either an inner or outer conflict. Some examples are potentially Djinn had a falling out with someone and had to leave, or had to go on a journey of self discovery, or has some inner doubt that they need to resolve.

Contemplation:
The description of the image of this card indicates that the figure in the image is restless, and pauses to take some time away from things to ponder the best possible solution for the issues they are dealing with. This is a time of planning and reflection for Djinn to make sure the decision they are making in regards to solving the conflict they are dealing with is the correct one. This could also indicate that they are a very patient and introspective dragon, and consider all possible options before moving forward with choices.

The Future:
Considering this card follows immediately after the Conflict card in the deck, I think it is of the related to the conflict that Djinn could potentially be dealing with. Maybe they don't like looking towards the future, and the future scares them a lot and is always a point of conflict for them. Or maybe they look towards the future too much and got lost in the big dreams and what if's of what they want for their life. This card emphasizes the fact that no mater what, the future is always vague, so even if Djinn tried to contemplate and prepare for every possible future, there isn't always going to be one clear direction.

Inner Peace:
This card seems very contrary to the anxious planning and fear of the future the other cards seemed to suggest. The Inner Peace card symbolizes taking time to rest and recharge after a stressful time and prioritizing your self care first and foremost. This could be a place or another creature that Djinn finds comfort and safe haven with, and uses as an escape from the worries of the future or the preparation for the future. Alternatively, this could indicate that Djinn finds peace and calm in preparing for the future and reflecting on the future--soothing the sense of Conflict that they get from the fear of the unknown.

Tarot

Bottom of the Deck - Page of Wands:
This card is all about childlike wonder, energy, and imagination. Given that this is the card that symbolizes what the rest of the reading will be referring to, I think it could either be Djinn's mate, or what Djinn is searching to embody themself.

2 of Wands:
Similar to the Contemplation card from the oracle reading, this card is all about daydreaming and planning for the future. I think this definitely reinforces the idea that Djinn is very cautious and calculated with their decisions--or is a very big daydreamer or worrier that likes to think of everything first before making a decision. Both Contemplation and the 2 of Wands let you know that it is not yet time to move, and that you must plan and brainstorm before taking action and moving forward.

Knight of Wands:
I definitely get the sense from this card that this is related to the Page of Wands energy that Djinn is either looking to embody, or that their potential mate encourages in Djinn, which isn't surprising to me considering that the Knight of Wands immediately follows the Page of Wands in the order of the suit. The Knight of Wands is impulse and acts on passion rather than logic or the contemplation discussed earlier. As the description in the booklet says of the figure on the card, "She will always leap before she looks, for better or worse." Given the somewhat cautious and anxious nature Djinn seems to have as indicated by the other cards, I think they could use to live impulsively, either by pushing themself out of their comfort zone or having a trusted loved one help them to do so.

Temperance:
As one of the Major Arcana cards, Temperance symbolizes ultimate balance. This card definitely corresponds to the Inner Peace card in the Oracle reading, as it emphasizes the peace and tranquility that can be found by achieving balance and practicing Temperance. Like the Inner Peace card, it represents rest and relaxation and recharging before moving forward. While Djinn may be too cautious at times, and want to be more impulsive, it is important for them to be mindful of the fact that they need to keep a strong balance between impulsiveness and wariness, lest an extreme in either of those lead to conflict. Additionally, I think that this card could represent the balance that cautious Djinn could have with a very impulsive and free-spiritted mate, the two balancing each other out perfectly and helping push the other out of their comfort zones.
