Singular accidentally slipped out of existence one day, and hasn’t found a way back yet. Her parents looked for her - set out food for her - but that’s the way that it goes, sometimes, with leap-days, skipped-days, invisible to the normal rhythm of day-to-day time. She’s not actually invisible, functionally; she can talk to other dragons, and they’ll remember she was there, but the second she loses concentration, she slips halfway across the continent and three weeks into the future, and it’s such a pain to get back to the conversation she’d been in the middle of.
