Many fables and folklore of the beastclans refer to dragons that were always assumed to be the species of the current day, but Lyre thinks differently—these old oral histories may hold hints to long-forgotten encounters with the ancients. Good thing researching and collecting folklore has been her life's work! This renewed interest in beastclan folklore has justified Lyre's entire career, and she's a little smug about it. She told you so! When you pull all the stories from different beastclan populations into one place, you can start making connections that hint at the forgotten history of Sornieth. So now those snobby historians are taking her "fanciful fairy tales" seriously. (She doesn't share her work with those historians, only the good ones who always saw the value in it.)

Mad Libs: Lyre's Lost Lore

A lorekeeper named Lyre is completely forlorn. She had all this lore in her collection that she took out for research, only for a hungry aether to come by and eat holes in her documents! She needs help remembering what all of them said. She can tell from context what parts of speech all the missing words were. Can you help her fill in the blanks?

Make madlibs-style stories by chopping up the lore text for Lightning subspecies. Use Google Sheets to let people send in words for the parts of speech/prompts that populate the secret story. The next day, make the story public so everyone can see what they wrote. There are prizes for most plausible, most nonsensical, and most misleading.
