Changeling
Meyve, Cappy and Saf were playing in the meadow. The sun sat high in the sky. The little ones had a quick snack and found a soft tuft of grass to rest. As, her siblings prepared the bed, Meyve stopped at the edge of a small pool to take a sip of water. She made her way back to her siblings, curled up close to Cappy and hugged Saf close. Closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep.

She came awake with a start. Cappy stood over her while Saf hid behind Cappy. They had a frightened look on their faces. "What she asked them?" Cappy looked over her shoulder at Saf. Saf's mouth hung open with shock. Cappy turned back to Meyve and asked her what had happened to her. Meyve had no idea what the were taking about. Did she have grass stains or something?

She flitted over to the water to wash off. She looked into the water and someone else looking back at her but with her own eyes. She looked back over her shoulder at her sisters. "Get momma." she choked out as tears welled in her eyes.

By the road, a large market stand. The stand is full of freshly picked produce and herbs. But, one row of baskets hold something special. In the back corner a row of water hyacinth boat basket sit. In each basket, wrapped in a soft minky blanket, a tiny little creature with large soulful eyes are watching you. What an odd place to find a hatchling. These little dragons seem different. More plant like then any you have seen before.

A large Imperial calmly makes his way to you. "Beautiful aren't they? I cared for this crop myself. Well, not that one there it belongs to him. I got four. He only got two." He points toward another Imperial lumbering toward you who answers with a grumble "Quality is better than quantity, Spell." Ignoring the other Imperial he continued on. "Harvested them just this morning. They're very special. The garden blessed us with them. They are creatures of great magic. They MUST be handled with care. They bruise easily and WILL hold a grudge. Are you brave enough to take one home?
