Delilah was born from a wilting flower in a vast, but long abandoned field of crops by the will of the original gods. As one of the earliest old gods to rise, her original purpose was vague and unclear, a celestial being soon reduced to a rogue that merely wandered the barren, unpopulated lands. So when life suddenly sprung all over the land, Delilah wanted to see the life that seemingly teemed forth. Unknown to her though, gods weren't allowed to interact with mortal beings just yet, in fear of swaying them and influencing them to love and worship only one god. Initially she was only told off, but as she went back again at the dead of night, she was punished. For her actions against the gods, Delilah was sentenced to be the overseer of purgatory; an endless golden wheat field so she can see the mortals she adored as only glimpses. Time oozed some days like honey, trickling by as Delilah felt every second of her isolation, to water where she could feel the rush of meeting another dragon for once, even if it was just for a glimpse in time. For eternity, she's sentenced to wander the fields of gold endlessly; until a mortal actually stuck around.

Roble was one of the only mortals to stay for longer than a day in her purgatory. Hesitant to acquaint her properly, Delilah prefers to still be wary of the potentially dangerous stranger.
