Well, this mean jerkface over here--

Aurelius is your archetypal Lightning dragon-- effective and businesslike, kind of reminiscent of the Stormcatcher himself, yelling out instructions for his employees below. Upon his coming into Olympia's clan he made a huuuuge financial contribution to the clan's hoard which cemented their alliance.

You'd wonder what a dragon like him would be doing in the clan started by Olympia, such a sweet and gentle dragoness who just wants to make friends and learn stuff together. Well, Aurelius is a dragon of culture-- he loves things elegant, finely crafted, and intellectually stimulating. He also seems to be good friends with Vasilios, whom he studied with for sometime in their youth.

Although he spent some time away from the Shifting Expanse to acquire resources and wait out some conflict involving his business associates, he has since then returned and now heads the half of the clan that resides in the territory of Lightning. This is elaborated further in Astra's bio!

His partner is Artemidora the Coatl, also of the Lightning flight. At first it looks like a puzzle how they're together, as she-- very gentle and meek-- is the near antithesis to Aurelius and his Big Mean Mr. Moneybags impression. But really he's rather soft and sentimental deep inside. When he's not busy with complex business plans, he enjoys literature and song. He wouldn't admit it, but if he had more time he would totally just indulge in all things fine and beautiful without a care for the world. And suddenly his partnership with Artemidora makes sense-- she encapsulates that sort of softness and beauty he admires.

But that's his side that many dragons would never see. As the bossman of bossmen whom Aurelius emulates would say-- BACK TO WORK!
