Enchantress
Modest singing dancer

For a dragon who so resembles a cloudless summer sky, Altaria is rather down-to-earth and sensible. In fact, there are some who would describe her as too serious, too self-conscious -- but that just means they have yet to see her dance.

In the air or on the ground, if there is music playing (and sometimes even if there is not), Altaria becomes as one with the wind, dancing so gracefully and with such fluidity as to seem wholly transformed. She is the music when she moves. Even more impressive is her vocal gifts, for Altaria can sing as beautifully as any songbird, with notes high and clear and seeming almost to pass through her from another, far more ethereal plane.

Of course, even when at motion in dance or swelling with the chorus of a song, Altaria remains Altaria. As soon as her song or dance is over, and the praise and cheers for her performance begin to roll in, Altaria turns faintly rosy around the frill, and ducks her head in embarrassment. Secretly she's thrilled to know her work resonates with others, but she hasn't a clue how to handle the admiration that comes with her talent. She'll whisper a soft thank you if cornered by a fan, and use any opportunity to slip quietly away and disappear for a few hours, or days, only to return to the public eye once again with a new song or dance to enchant her audience all over again.
