Biography

"Please... do you... have anything?"

Subject E-31137

While the other Dead Zoners consume to make themselves stronger and larger, Ecolerious is, while still very large, is stuck permanently at a size just under the average Guardian. And to make things worse, it is forever cursed with an insatiable appetite.

Devouring dragons up to twice its size can calm it for a few days, but it will never feel fully satisfied, and as such is constantly seeking a meal. She submits to Twizzler as a sort of garbage disposal, following his every command in exchange for food, which usually consists of scraps and carrion the Progenitor and his commanders couldn't finish. Ecolerious' slow movement speed and overwhelming weight make her an easy target of bullying from the others, but the hunger gnawing at her from inside is too distracting for her to process or care about their words.

But let it be known that Ecolerious is the farthest thing from stupid. She is treated as brute by Melanoma, as a dumpster by Twizzler, and as a dog by the rest of the Dead Zoners, but when it comes to problem solving and language, she is actually one of the most well-spoken flesh abominations aside from Twizzler himself. When able to eat a large enough meal to calm the maddening starvation, she's pretty reasonable and docile, able to hold long conversations about almost anything, from literature (despite not knowing how to read) to food (her taste is quite refined, when given the choice!) to science (biology students take note!). But sadly, these moments of calm are few and far between. Its curse is too ravenous to satiate for long, and the sheer amount of food needed to bring back her sanity isn't sustainable under Twizzler's leadership.

When starved, as is normal, Ecolerious acts like a sluggish, dim-witted beast, willing to do whatever possible to get some form of nourishment. Her wings are drenched in chains and crystalized blood, fresh skins and shredded pelts tangle around her waist, and clusters of bloodied leaves and twigs stick to her rotting skin, unwelcome souvenirs from her starved rampages. Her words are short and her patience is thin as the curse completely takes her over, mind, body, and soul.

The perfect attack dog.
