Hindu god of fire, associated with the sun.

Heat and flame are nothing to this dragon. Agni spends as much of his time as possible in the sun, soaking up the relentless heat waves. Often he can be found soaring high in the sky mid-afternoon, wings stretched as far as possible to get the most from the sun. He nearly glows with his love of the sun and all things warm, often keeping a roaring fire in his home even in the blazing inferno of summer. Luckily for him, his mate is tolerant of the heat and will bask in the sun with him, although she does become more active at night while he becomes more sedentary, preferring to stay inside where the heat of the fire can dance off his bright scales.

Agni enjoys searching for items that his mate will enjoy, as well as seeking out items the clan will benefit from. He buys them from markets all over the territory or brings them home from scavenging finds. His gifts are bestowed with modesty, barely accepting the thanks that goes with each one. It is second nature for this dragon to try and please others. He is almost always seen with a radiantly warm aura, both physically and psychologically. Many dragons are at ease with Agni in any situation. It makes him a very easily approached dragon and he is glad for the company it brings.

The few things that can cause Agni a bad mood is cold food - both in temperature and in spice - and a daytime storm that blots out the sun. He will eat his food with the strongest peppers the clan can grow, sometimes besting even the greatest pepper eaters without breaking a sweat. Luckily the weather passes easily, although there was once a three day streak of bad weather where Agni refused to leave his home beside his fire, soaking up the heat and looking disdainfully out the window at the storm rolling through.
