Brion was an aspiring star with a brilliant singing voice. His flashy feathers drew attention and he thrived under it all. He wanted to be seen, to be known, and to be loved by anybody who laid eyes on him. He was kindhearted but at the same time he did have some arrogant tendencies. He often argued with his sibling, Mirage over which of them was the most beautiful but their parents would never pick any sides. The rest of their siblings stayed out of the argument. Brion was still on good terms with his family despite this little feud.

Because he caught the eye of everybody, that meant he also caught the eye of a very specific dragon that happened to host one of the most brutal fighting rings known to dragonkind. Brion was invited in for an exclusive tour, one he couldn't pass up especially because the invitation wasn't extended to anybody else in his family. So he went. He realized a little too late that it was more than just an invitation, it was a trap.

As Brion awoke in the hellscape that was the arena, he was thankful for the small amount of self-defense that he'd been made to take as a hatchling. He could defend himself decently enough but the fights were harsh and unforgiving. His arrogant nature slipped away to reveal a frightened little dragon just trying to get back home.
