Prince

The eldest of the first batch of eggs Sweetie and Angler had together. He was promised a wife from an ally clan from the moment he was hatched. His entire life has been laid out for him, mostly by Angler. He is to be the next in line to take over the clan when he's older, and he's expected to produce an heir in the future. And while he obeys his father's wishes, he isn't exactly happy about it.

He will follow the rules, but he does envy his younger brother Nudibranch. Worse still, he misses the middle child of their batch- Stormy- a whole lot. Unfortunately, the middle child was given to the same ally clan his future wife came from and has been betrothed to a similarly aged dragon there. All Prince really wants is to be a normal family, but Angler really just won't give them a break.

As an adult, Prince has grown to enjoy the little things in life. A good book, the lovely tea his mother brews, the sunsets on the ocean. He's a lot less anxious these days. While he still misses his brother, he knows Stormy will be okay- He's a tough guy. Above all else, he's grown to appreciate having Quartz in his life. He's bought her many gifts and taken her to lovely places for dinner- Even organising boat rides with her for special occasions. If he's stuck in this marriage, he might as well treat his wife right. He refuses to be like his father, after all.
