Physicality:
Emerald was a gorgeous dragon, and she knew it. She had big bright eyes and scales that shone like polished gemstones. She'd wear ornamentation to further highlight her appearance. She was lithe and a fair flyer, though certainly nothing fancy. She took good care of herself, and it showed.

Personality:
Emerald was a charming, playful, intelligent dragon. She was warm, but liked to joke around. She'd back off if someone didn't seem into it, though. She was a bit of a flirt at times, with dragons she found suitably to her tastes, but rarely took such things particularly seriously. She got bored easily, and would move along to someone else, mostly liking the thrill of the chase. But she was never cold about it, and never meant to lead on anyone genuinely looking for a stronger, long term commitment- anyone like that who got interested in her would be let down easily from the get-go.
She was very mathematically minded, and could do advanced arithmetic in her head easily. She enjoyed puzzles and riddles, anything that let her occupy her mind with strategy until she worked it out. It was like mind candy to her, and she'd often occupy her body with thoughtless flight as she considered things internally.
She could give serviceable advice to any dragon's problem, having a knack for knowing what they needed to hear and how they needed to hear it. She'd go so far as to set up a situation to teach a lesson in more practical terms, a strategy which she especially employed with her children and close friends. It was a bit scheming, but she never meant to meddle too much, only demonstrate her point of view and hope it led them in the right direction. If it got her in hot water, she'd be the first to admit it was her own dang fault.

History:
Emerald was one of the last hatchlings to come to the Droseran Domain before hatchlings began to be taken by force. Her egg simply came loose from her nest and ended up well separated from her clan, for whatever reason. Ebrejia stumbled upon it, and after asking around for a source and coming up with nothing, decided to bring it back to the Domain, as it was better than nothing, and god knew she wasn't going to raise whatever hatched out.
As such, Emerald became another greudence* of the Droseran Domain. At that point in clan history there was not yet an established nursery team, and the only other spiral was Karroe, who was barely older than her. As such, Emerald was largely left to run wild and free, coming to the gathering at night and playing with other hatchlings during the day, learning to hunt and gather with the adults more as she got older.
She became friends with Karroe, though he quickly developed a crush on her that she was always telling him to ditch, as well as Penekahra, Ammonite, and Berrina. She got along well with Periwinkle and Enketta of the founding family as well, but didn't get to have quite as much contact with them. She and Enketta especially enjoyed one another's company though, because both had good minds for complicated technical subjects.
Emerald always showed an incredible aptitude for all things numerical that quickly impressed the adult dragons of the clan. She was tested some, even monitored by Nicht to see if she displayed trustworthy characteristics, and it was soon decided that she would be expected to become the Domain's treasurer when she came of age. She was plenty happy with the deal, being especially excited to assess the worth of gorgeous gems and display them between uses.
As an adult dragon, Emerald thrived in her role, and continued to be a social butterfly, only making more friends as more dragons joined the clan. She also became quite the flirt, finding it fun and engaging to go back and forth with someone in that way. Karroe was always there to the side, trying to impress her, but she always told him it just wasn't going to happen. It didn't really frustrate her, though she did have some concerns for his sake.
At one point a professor from the Pobblebonk Research Academy by the name of Mochi came through the Domain, and she allowed him to stay in her lair for the duration, so long as he'd help her out with some daily tasks. He did so, more often than not just by keeping her company, and the two developed a flirtation. Not long after he returned to his school, Emerald had a nest, and soon three beautiful children; Mochet, Sorrel, and Siobahn.

Current Situation: Emerald heard about what happened with Azurite, and considered it deeply unfortunate, but wasn't strongly personally effected. She was friends with his sibling Periwinkle, especially as a hatchlings and young mother, and remained good friends with Enketta- but it was still pretty distant from her these days. Especially when Enketta herself seemed not to have the brain space to process it; Emerald considered it more her job to keep the engineer's mind off it on the rare occassion that she had off time.

Character Interaction:
Ebrejia: Ebrejia found Emerald's unhatched egg while on her travels, and opted to bring it to the Domain when she couldn't find where it had came from, since she didn't want to be responsible for raising a hatchling herself. Emerald was made aware of this fact when young, but rarely saw Ebrejia, and didn't think much about her.
Karroe: Karroe and Emerald were childhood friends. At the time of her joining, they were the only spirals in the clan, and it remained that way until Emerald had children. Karroe was immediately excited to have another of his breed around, and found Emerald extremely beautiful, quickly developing a crush on her. She would laugh, and they were quickly friends, but that was all she had interest in being. He wanted to impress her, always assuming she didn't like him that way because of his dorkyness, while she was so cool... but in reality, she just wasn't that romantically minded, and didn't want to be tied down.
When they were still hatchlings, it was easy to just laugh off when Karroe tried some exciting aerial maneuver to impress her. She would even play into it for the fun of it. But as they grew, and his feelings remained strong, even growing more serious, she became worried for him. She came to know herself more and more, and part of that was knowing Karroe was never gonna be what she wanted, and she worried that he'd go on wasting his time forever and miss out on the kind of romance he really wanted. She tried to be straightforward with him, and he did accept her feelings; but it didn't make it easy to just stop having his own. She knew he continued to like her that way, even as he tried to conceal it- she could still see the way his head snapped in her direction to check for a response anytime he did something cool. It really just made her sad.
Despite all that, they were still always friends, and really cared a lot about each other. Karroe's crush was strong, but he always wanted Emerald to know that he would be true to her as a friend regardless, and she never doubted it. Fundamentally they were quite important people to one another.
Penekahra: Emerald and Penekahra were friends since they were hatchlings. They would often fly together, and hang out with their other friends. They had a very relaxed and easy friendship, neither being overly competitive or difficult in their personalities. They could easily just grab a cup of tea and chat at any time.
