Biography
Oasis is a land surveyor a conservationist for the clan. It is her job to ensure that the fauna and flora living naturally in the forest isn't too disturbed by the presence of dragon activity in the forest as well as helping maintain and preserve threatened species of both plants and animals. Her abilities also help her to maintain the forest as her is able to see through the plants the environment around her. By touching plant life connected to the forests structure she can look far beyond her normal sight to find and view specific life in the forest. She can often get herself into trouble as she often chooses to paralysis dragons and creatures she thinks are harming the forest. Sometimes she is correct sometimes it is a gardener or harvester collecting food. Often her parents try showing her past examples of good activity in the forest through the loop and her father especially tries telling her convincing lessons through stories. The Peace Lilies and Loving Lotuses are also aware of constant calls of paralyzed dragons and such keep plenty of anti-venom in stock.
Oasis loves traversing the forest especially in the waterways as she blends in well there. She loves especially finding her Undertide friends to invite to her treetop paradise for a visit. She often maintains the watering system on the treetops so they can visit often. Other than her time hiding from her job, she actually loves working though hates the socializing part of her job. She often studies the past area and how it has been transformed and reports these findings to the Lodgers to either clear them of building in the area or not. Sometimes an area looks perfect for building though parts of the year can get flooded so Oasis makes sure the Lodgers are fully aware of the land and its conditions yearly. She also advises how to build to less impact the environment. Like building a treetop home to help the land dwelling creatures preserve their space. As such she most associates herself with the Lodgers Guild rather than the Greenery Gardens Guild.
Oasis often rests quite often not under the sun as she finds herself drying out from prolonged exposure to the sun. As such her spot in the treetop home is under a weaved dome made from garlands, weaved branches, and large leaves. She also prefers to rest in the woods in the trees above the waterways though she always makes sure to wrap her body around the branches as to not fall in. Though lucky for her she floats abelite poorly. This is another reason she knows the Peace Lilies and Loving Lotuses as she has a tendency to almost drown this way. Lucky for her again, Selene often patrols near where she sleeps.
Like many Auraboa, Oasis has a tendency to fall asleep. Sometimes this is during her work, midday, mid sentence, or even middle of the road. Though she tries to aim for the Auraboa sleeping nests the Lodgers build for these situations, Oasis can sometimes end up dozing in the middle of nowhere. This means she is quite vulnerable to being attacked as she dreams though her abilities and familiar make for great protection. If Oasis is near plant life when she is sleeping she can still see around her almost like the Loop but focused. Though even if she is on a paved path (though not like concrete rather more like a gravel path) away from plants her familiar will plant a flower near where she fell asleep so she can still see around herself. Though this angers the Greenry Gardens guild who try to keep the paths tidy. Often times dragons who try to move her also get stung by her familiar that tries to protect her especially since the ideal method for moving an extremely large Auraboa is to roll them over into the basket or off the path. This often can roughen up her feathers and underside which in combination is another reason she is well known by the Peace Lilies and Loving Lotuses.
Some other notable things about Oasis is that she adores blue items. Anything she can think of to adorn her open air nest with the other Auraboa is something she will gladly "borrow". Often dragons who are missing pretty blue items check the nest of the Auraboas and will often find the items there from blue pots and pans to blue glasses, though she doesn't wear traditional modern dragon clothing, Oasis still takes it to decorate with it instead.
