Nova is an incredibly sweet and shy dragon that enjoys spending all of her time skipping meals to watch the stars. She often has to be coaxed away from her telescope or research to eat, sleep, and enjoy time outside of the observatory by her friend Borealis the Magician. Recently, he's been sending his apprentice to the observatory to check on her to get him out of his hair (though if you ask Borealis, he would swear it's to get him used to the palace corridors).

Not only does she chart the stars, she predicts the weather in the domain using her astute skills in observation and her honed intuition. Then she writes down her weather report for Gale, the mail carrier, to spread across the kingdom at lightning speed. Rarely is she wrong about her predictions and everyone in the kingdom knows her despite her reclusive nature.

Recently, she's taken a liking to Borealis' flamboyant apprentice, Auster, and the feeling is mutual. Seems that sometimes opposites DO attract!
