Atropos had given up.

She had long since abandoned her Search, unable to ever find her charge. Even now, Atropos had been forced to forgo her plans to fortify and protect the Quarantine from those who would do it harm.

For a breed so driven to protect, the guardian could not seem to safeguard any of what she held dear.

Until Thanatos.





The clan was hesitant to let Atropos join their ranks, following the sickness that decimated their numbers. Pulsing with plague, the dark guardian was an unknown, a potential pestilence patiently waiting, sitting, and pretending to be benign before pervading the clan's ranks.

It was Moonghoul, a quiet veteran of the Wasteland and the tragedies the clan had endured, who spoke up for Atropos. The shadowy mirror knew Atropos well from long ago. He owed her his life more than once... owed her this favor.


Tends to a small garden of stanglers and flora native to the Wasteland.

She looks ancient; scales cracked and wings worn, as if she is seconds from falling apart at the seams. Do not make the mistake of thinking that is true.


Her wings had grown thin and ragged as she aged. Now, when the sun is bright overhead, the veins forking throughout them frame her blackened visage as she descends....
