────────────────────────────────────── biography. Crwth, Cuatro, and Shilan all run a fake "magic" business. Shilan is the youngest of the three, but the most talented. He's the most passionate about the actual magic part and less the business part of it all. He's got the most intricate outfit but still has a lot of mobility. A beautiful starswirl seems to be around him at all times. He sees that Cuatro and Crwth don't take him as seriously as they do themselves, and it really annoys him. He just wants to be seen as equal to his siblings, not inferior. Ever since they were hatchlings, he and his siblings always wanted to be famous magicians. Prancing around the world, showing off their tricks, making people happy. Their parents always told them they'd never be able to, that they all had no talent. Well, it was mostly true. None of them know how to do magic, not even a simple card trick, but that never stopped their fantasy. One day, they decided to go into town. To really try to start up their business. Obviously, they couldn't do anything remotely magic related, so they hired a small fae. This fae would use its magic to create the illusion that they were all master magicians. The fae hides in Cuatro's headpiece, looking through the jewel right on the front. Perfectly concealed. But, some dragons almost caught on to their scheme. Right in the middle of a trick, Shilan bumped into Cuatro, jostling his headpiece and revealing the fae. They quickly turned it into another trick, making it look like Cuatro had "summoned" the fae, then making it "poof into thin air". A few dragons watching their show were skeptical, but the trio just disguised it as something new that they were trying out. That raised the most important question though. Where did the little fae go, exactly? They were walking home and Cuatro mentioned it. They searched everywhere, even going back to the place where they did their show, turning it upside down looking for it. The conclusion they came to after looking for hours was that Shilan really did make it disappear. They bombarded him with questions, but he was just as clueless as his siblings. "What did you do, Shilan!?" Shouted Cuatro. "You killed it! You killed our only way to become famous! We'll never make it now." Shilan argued back, "What are you talking about, dude? I didn't do anything! You guys are crazy!" but they still didn't believe him. "You had to have done something, because it's gone!!" Crwth barked at him, pointing her finger in his face. "We're done for! And it's all your fault." "You guys are never going to believe me, no matter what I say, are you?" a beat. "Obviously not!" She screamed again. Cuatro tried to reel things back in, saying that they should at least try to understand. Shilan spoke slowly and explained everything that he knew. How he saw the fae uncovered after he bumped into Cuatro, and how he instantly tried to cover it up. He swung the edge of his cloak up over it, closed his eyes, and did some random hand movements that might look like a sort of spell to the dragons watching. Then, the fae was just gone. He thought that it had crawled back into his brother's headpiece again, and that was that. They ended the show on that and packed up. They all decided to just go home, get to bed, and deal with everything in the morning. Only, Shilan never went to bed. He stayed up all night trying everything to get the fae back. Mimicking the movements he did at the show as closely as possible, but nothing worked. Only in a haphazard last try did something happen. There was a little puff of smoke and a chirp. Shilan did it again, a bigger puff of smoke and a louder chirp. He kept doing it until the fae was back and cheered so loudly he woke Cuatro and Crwth up. They rushed in to see what the racket was and saw Shilan in the middle of their living room cradling the little fae in his arms. "You summoned it back? How on earth did you do that, Shilan?" Cuatro muttered rubbing his eyes, still groggy. "I don't even know! I was up all night trying, and whatever I did actually worked! I got it back!" He beamed. He and Cuatro continued chatting about it all happy, and Crwth just shuffled back to bed, assuming she was dreaming. The next day Shilan made tea for everyone and kept talking to Cuatro about the events of last night. He was talking a lot, and Cuatro seemed a little out of it. He spoke, "Cuatro?" "Are you alright? You look a little dazed. I know I talk a lot, but jeez!" he questioned. "No, no it's not you. I was just thinking. What were you saying?" He really doesn't take me seriously, does he? Just when I thought I was making a breakthrough. It's fine.He contemplated. "Anyway Cuatro," he babbled on. ─────────────────────────────────────△ notes. › Adopted, but he doesn't know that.
