Foxfire is a Coatl whose stunning phosphorescent streaks seem to glow against a darker, muted green. She doesn't notice any attention given to her striking colors, though. She's far more practical than that. Hers is a genius mind that, once set to any task, will drive relentlessly for a solution—and more often than not, she finds it. She's excellent at reading others, a quick learner and a resourceful problem-solver. Her ability to pick up language has been as useful as her sharp skills in observation in quickly assessing the goals, strengths and weaknesses of dragons that her envoy may encounter.

While Foxfire calls herself a 'mender,' she means it in an almost tongue-in-cheek sense. Yes, she can patch a wound with an herbal poultice, or fix an ailing plant, but more relevant is her skill as an advisor. She is good at finding solutions to any problem—be that by careful tact and gifts, or the remorseless blackmail of an enemy. She isn't above harsh manipulation, making her a good balance to the more honest, softer and goodhearted Hollybranch. Where Holly may not think of a more confrontational answer to a question, Foxfire wouldn't think twice; and in situations where Foxfire might go too far, Holly is excellent at reining her in and settling for a more diplomatic approach.
