Beacan

As a newborn hatchling Beacan fell sick, frail body unable to handle both an aching fever and the subzero temperatures of the icefield. His desperate parents rushed him to the labyrinth, going so far as to force a breed change on him so that he would be accepted by the Seed, however they were distraught to see that he would never be their little boy, overgrown with vines and unintentionally wreaking havoc.

He represents the failures with the seed. His joints freeze together and his vines are sickly yet working their hardest to stitch his struggling body together, claws turning to thorns.

And yet he continues to persist—his mind fixes itself a little more with each passing day, he gains more control over his deadly vines, the ball of eternal ice crystals continues to pulse with life.

He will live, even if he dies a little on the way.

for a long time after he ingested the seed he didn't move, so his parents assumed him dead and left him, grieving as they trekked back to the Southern Icefield. This coma led to the vines beginning to overgrow, spawning fruit as his plants unconsciously prepared to connect with the Gladekeeper. When he did awake and took his first true steps, the vines had grown over him, so he had to tear himself free. Now his vines double as parasites, taking nutrients from anything they can touch as he passes by.

He is very much still a hatchling, and just wants to find his mother and father. He does not know that his vines kill, he just thinks that everybody is being mean to him for not helping him and sleeping instead.

He is often seen around the other cerdae that live around the Kimo Marketplace, however he is the only one that has ever truly killed someone, even if it was on accident.

Wildfire wants to control the herd but is too scared herself to make contact with them because of the little one.
